后埔社区地处吕岭路与金尚路的交界处，社区面积1.8平方千米，是江头街道下辖的社区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

明代，李氏祖先从安溪迁来，沿用安溪祖居地的地名「厚埔」，后演变为后埔。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初，这里属后西保与吕石保。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年2月，社区上榜「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。[1]
