双溪村为福清市东张镇西北部的行政村，海拔500多米，距镇区15公里，属边远山区村。全村包括双溪、坞垄、张犁、坂前四个自然村。[1]

据博雅地名网，全村218户、835人，未注明年份。村部设在双溪自然村，该村是革命老区基点村。[1]

村东西两侧各有两道溪流，汇合后南下，因而得名双溪。[1]

经济[edit]

农业主要生产稻谷、地瓜和油菜籽，水果有橄榄、柿、龙眼和枇杷，养殖有牛、羊、鸡和红鼻番鸭。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代立村，原属万安乡苏田里，村内有双溪境。1910年（清宣统二年）改属渔溪镇；1943年归风金乡双金保，分为6甲；1950年归第五区双金乡，1952年改属第六区。[1]

1958年起作东张公社双溪大队的驻地，1984年大队改设村委会，属东张镇。[1]
