香山村为福清市东张镇的行政村，位于镇区西部，濒东张水库西北岸，是福清市的革命老区村。[1]

全村下辖庄厝、新香山、后华、旧香山、石坑五个自然村，分为12个村民小组。据博雅地名网，共453户、1663人，未注明年份。村既有东张水库的失地户，也安置了库区移民。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村旁一座山出产白土，可用来制作香料和瓷碗的原料，因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村委会的前身为星耿高级社。村域历史上包括福兴（今后华）、安民（今庄厝）、万安（今石坑）和香山四境，宋代归长东乡清源里，清宣统二年（1910年）起隶属东张镇。1950年归第六区玉井乡，1956年并入星耿高级社。[1]

1959年成立香山大队，1984年大队改为村委会，仍隶属东张镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

香山村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年10月，福建省农业农村厅将香山村认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2022年12月，香山村被确定为「2022年度福州市中级版“绿盈乡村”」。[1]

2023年12月，香山村被认定为「2023年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为柑橘。[1]
