香山社区是广东省湛江市吴川市博铺街道下辖的社区，设立于1985年[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
因辖区内有香山古庙而得名[1]。设于1985年博铺建镇之时，下辖9个居民小组，包括墩头、卫东、外街、永安，以及永宁、永新、红卫、同乐、向群[1][2]，是街道里最大的社区。总人口3292人（2009年6月底）[1]；另据街道概况页，居民小组所列人口为3244人[2]。
1961年前属博铺，1961年分出，设曾屋大队；1985年设香山管理区，1999年改村民委员会，2002年改居民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
辖区内有省道梅化公路穿过；2001年社区出资310万元兴建综合办公大楼，共六层，建筑面积4200平方米[1]。制鞋是主要行业，现有企业近百家，塑料鞋年产量超过一亿双[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
香山古庙在社区的茂山南路，古称“寨门庙”，三进四合院式砖木结构，传始建于西晋太康初年（283年前后），清代历有重修，为广东省第六批省级文物保护单位[3][4]。相传晋代王濬流寓博铺，把寨门庙迁到香山岭脚，才有“香山古庙”之名[4]。
