先锋村为福清市东张镇的行政村，位于镇区西侧，与清源社区相接。村名含有带头争先的意思。[1]

1956年村内率先成立初级社，1959年析出设先锋大队，1984年撤公社设镇后改称先锋村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代归长东乡清源里，明代划入北二隅的清源里，属其图一。1910年（清宣统二年）改属东张镇。1943年村域划入玉井保，分为7甲；1950年归第六区玉井乡，1958年并入东张公社东旅大队。[1]

荣誉[edit]

先锋村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年12月，福建省绿化委员会将先锋村命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
