西安村是东瀚镇下辖的行政村。明初有人自西江迁居此地建村，村名寄托了祖先庇佑、子孙平安的愿望。[1]

明初，有人自西江迁居此地建村。取名西安，既为纪念祖先，也寄望后人平安。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代村地属崇德乡平南里六十都，明代属南上隅平南里六十都，1910年后属高山镇。1943年设六十乡西安保，1952年改属第十四区西安乡。[1]

1959年4月划归高山公社陈庄大队，1961年改属东瀚公社，另设西安大队。1984年起称西安村委会，1992年乡改镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

西安村于2021年11月由福建省爱卫办评定为2021年福建省卫生村。[1]
