新湖村是君山镇下辖的行政村，地势平坦，南北两侧临海，南面对着翡翠湾（亦称裕藩湾或金坛湾）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国初年此地归侯均区辖，其后划给一区流水乡。1949年并入一区五湖乡，此后改隶六区。1958年4月，这里并入流水乡，公社时期隶属大澳大队。[1]

新湖大队于1971年自大澳分立，1984年转为新湖村的村委会建制，今属君山镇。[1]
