大樟村地处塘前乡境内，位于从福州通往永泰的路线沿途，距福州市约25公里，距永泰县城约30公里，是乡政府所在地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

关于村名，一说是永泰县在唐代建县之前只设一个镇，镇所在地就是这里的大樟；另一说则因村中一棵数百年的大樟树而得名。[1]

清代归丰和乡永安里三都管辖。民国期间，1915年至1935年隶属东区，1950年至1951年属第四区。1958年置城关公社大樟管理区下的大樟生产大队，1961年划归葛岭公社，1978年归塘前人民公社，1984年改为大樟村民委员会，隶属塘前乡。[1]

地理环境[edit]

龙屿溪（也称一都溪）在村域内流经，源自福清一都，经由芋坑、赤鲤等村注入大樟溪。[2]

全村共三个自然村：大樟、塘前、北溪。地多山林，耕地几乎没有，村民大多外出谋生，所种经济作物以枇杷为主。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]
