红阳村是永泰县同安镇的行政村，村名原为凤阳，因所在地山形似凤凰，「文革」期间改为红阳。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

村子最初叫凤阳，所在地的山形像一只凤凰。「文化大革命」期间改名为红阳。[1]

清代，村子属中和乡官贤里的二十三都。1961年编入同安人民公社，设为凤阳生产大队，「文革」起改称红阳生产大队。1984年改由同安乡管辖，设红阳村民委员会；1992年改为同安镇红阳村民委员会。[1]
