金沙村位于城峰镇东端，与葛岭镇相接，村后依靠芋际村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代，村域属中和乡元铺里十二都；民国时期，1915年至1935年间属东区。1958年，村中设金沙生产大队，隶属城关公社城关管理区；1961年改归城关人民公社。1984年改设城峰乡金沙村委会，1992年起为城峰镇金沙村民委员会。[1]

203省道从村旁经过，福永高速的出入口位于村内的拱桥里。[2]

经济[edit]

村内产业以嫁接西甜瓜、蔬菜和青梅种植为主。[2]

荣誉[edit]

「2021年福建省卫生村」由福建省爱卫办于2021年11月授予金沙村。[1]
