后溪村位于梧桐镇西南部，地处青龙溪西岸，西与仙游县交界，距永泰县城约38公里，距梧桐镇政府约5公里。村落面积15平方千米，辖5个自然村、6个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历与地处青龙溪西岸有关。1961年改属梧桐人民公社，1984年划入梧桐乡，1989年归梧桐镇。[1]

1943年3月，省委从莆田经仙游来到后溪村清溪一带，在此建立抗日救国的办公场所，并设立秘密据点，前后历时两年。[2]

2019年6月，村里被列入「第五批中国传统村落」名录；2024年1月，被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村域森林覆盖面积约16万亩，毛竹等林木丰富，野生动物时有出没。[2]

著名人物[edit]

村中名人温良模，毕业于北京大学。[2]
