湖头村是福建省福州市闽清县坂东镇下辖的行政村，爱国华侨黄乃裳出生于此。村名的来历与古时一处积水成湖的洼地有关。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

古时此地有一处洼地积水成湖，湖水退去后，先民在湖的上方选址筑屋，村名由此得来。[1]

明清时此地称六都湖头。民国年间先隶属湖台保，后归玉文镇管辖；1950年改属第五区湖台乡。1958年以东风大队之名并入坂东公社，1982年又称湖头大队。1984年7月起由村委会管理，隶属坂东镇。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

黄乃裳、黄乃模墓在村东北龟山之后，1991年列入第三批省级文物保护单位。村中另有县级文物保护单位黄乃裳纪念馆。[1][4][5]

文化[edit]

每年农历正月，村中的湖头街上举行传统的「十八坂」物资交流会。[1]

2024年1月，湖头村获得「2023年福建省卫生村」称号，此前已列入福建省爱卫办的公示名单。[1][6]

著名人物[edit]

黄乃裳1849年生于此地，字绂丞，后在马来西亚砂捞越诗巫一带开拓，1924年在闽清逝世。[1][5]
