金沙社区是福建省福州市闽清县金沙镇的社区，是镇内唯一的居民委员会，地处镇中心区。[1][2]社区名称取自驻地周边的铁砂资源，社区于2005年设立。[1]

地名由来[edit]

驻地一带山多，山间黄土层里夹杂着铁砂。据说明代起就有人借水流淘洗铁砂，用炉子熔炼生铁；传说所出铁砂闪闪发亮，地名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区居民委员会成立于2005年。[1]县政府公布的行政区划则把这一居委会写作“金沙居委会”。[2]
