罗洋村是竹岐乡的行政村，位于闽侯县西部，村名相传与村中的罗洋寺有关，村内辖7个自然村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据传说，祖先为寻找风水宝地来到今日罗洋寺所在处，梦中见到一块碑刻着“罗洋寺”。醒后问僧人，僧人说此地是仙得神地，于是众人筹钱建寺，寺名便成了地名。[1]
1958年，此处设大队，取名罗洋；1984年以后，村民委员会组建，村名不变。[2]
