福星村是潭头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北方，距镇政府约3千米。东至文石村，西邻泽里村，南毗潭头村，北与琅岐岛隔江相望。[1][2]

渔业[edit]

解放前，村中渔民靠江海为生，一家几代都住在船上。村中姓氏较杂，计有陈、林、江、翁、欧、张、刘、连、郑、唐诸姓。[2]

1950年代初组建福星高级渔业社，1958年改为福星村渔业大队。渔船由木帆船发展为大型机帆船，渔业生产转向远海。八十年代，因海洋资源减少，渔业由集体经营逐步转为个体经营和股份制，捕捞以流刺网为主，兼有桁杆拖虾、触笼等作业。[2]

福星渔港历史上为天然渔港，是闽东、闽中渔产的交汇处，距东引渔场约50海里，距白犬渔场约18海里。[2]

建筑景观有福星白云寺、文武太平王宫，另有潭头港与内福两处尚书殿。[2]
