石壁村位于文岭镇东北部，下辖10个自然村，依次为坛赶兜、青屿、新厝、西片仑、郑朱凅、下李、上李、新林朱墩、林朱墩和石壁顶。[1][2]

村名的来历是石壁山上有一龙坛坑，坑内两侧的岩壁高悬陡削，村因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年称石壁大队，1984年改称石壁村委会，沿用至今。[1]

农业[edit]

村内设有蔬菜基地，主要种植马铃薯、白萝卜和冬瓜。[1]

1999年，村内的「南畔洲」白萝卜获得「福州市名优蔬菜」的评定，同年本村被福州市列为「蔬菜生产基地」。2005年，「石壁蔬菜协会」被福建省农业厅授予「省农业产业龙头企业」称号。2007年，三种作物经农业部审批，以「闽农」商标注册，并获得省产地无公害蔬菜认证。[1]

村子靠近闽江入海口，所产海蚌是当地的特产。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

大王宫的创建可追溯到明天启年间，清道光四年（1824年）曾经重建，1996年又加修葺。[2]

白马王宫的历史起自宋建隆元年（960年），元代曾经扩建，1981年又修。村中基督教堂的建立可追溯到1823年（清道光三年），1935年重建，1995年改扩建。[2]
