山前村是松下镇的行政村，北邻大祉村，南靠松下村，西与福清市毗邻。村名取自村庄坐落在山前面的地势。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是村庄坐落在山前面。1958年设山前生产大队，1984年改为山前村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

山坡上植树造林，1982年被列入生态保护区范围。村旁有五会山、蝙蝠山以及仙靴等山水名胜。[1]

村中以罗姓为主。山前罗氏宗祠建于清代，门前立有两对旗杆石，原有的牌匾在「文革」中毁坏。[1]
