梅东村是浙江省杭州市萧山区党湾镇下辖的行政村，位于党湾镇集镇周边。[1]村名因位于梅林湾东面而来。[1]

人口与村民小组[edit]

全村共有23个村民小组、839户农户，人口2875人，另有外来常住人口700人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地原是钱塘江南岸的滩涂，约200多年前，绍兴等地农民迁来此地开垦。20世纪30年代，这里属六都二图；1949年5月后归党湾乡第六村。[1]

合作化期间，此地曾设新联高级社，仍归党湾乡；人民公社化后成立新联大队。1981年更名梅东大队；1984年成为梅东村，隶属党湾乡，1989年起隶属党湾镇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年9月，村庄入选萧山区美丽乡村示范村创建名录；2021年5月，被命名为「萧山区2020年度平安村（社区）」；2021年11月，浙江省民政厅确认村庄为「第四批浙江省省级引领型农村社区」；2022年6月，入选「杭州市首批共富村」名单。[1]
