东沙村位于益农镇东部，东面与党山镇的围垦村相接，南面接兴裕村，西靠益农集镇，北面邻群英村。[1]

地名[edit]

村名与移民的来历有关。1983年起，原长沙乡的七个村的移民迁到原益农乡的沙地围垦区；这些移民原居长沙乡东片，所围之地又是长沙乡最东面的沙地，故名东沙。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1985年5月，移民户组成原长沙乡东沙村。1987年，原益农乡东江村的两个村民小组，以及原瓜沥乡的三个村民小组并入东沙村，村成为益农、长沙、瓜沥三乡移民组成的村民自治组织。同年7月，东沙村隶属原益农乡。[2]

村域面积3.1平方千米，耕地1811亩，设13个村民小组。萧山区政府网站载，村内农户376户，总人口1423人（年份未注）。[1]
