新生社区是滨江区浦沿街道西部的社区，西面和北面临江，2011年2月由新生村撤村建居更名而成。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2007年6月，新生村建立党委。2011年2月，新生村撤销，改称新生社区，批准单位为滨江区政府。[2]

撤村前，全村辖10个自然村、37个村民组。[2]

产业[edit]

社区传统上种植花卉苗木，在外培育的苗木基地已超过4000亩，花卉苗木业成为社区居民的一项重要产业。[2]

建筑建材与精细化工是社区逐步形成的两大特色产业。[2]
