永和社区位于康桥街道的区域中心，辖区面积0.2平方千米。博雅地名网概况记为2009年6月撤村建居，历史沿革却记为2010年撤村建社区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国初期，这里属杭县康桥乡的一个行政村。1955年成立初级社，1956年并入康桥乡的合作社，1958年为康桥管理区的一个生产队，1960年又并入一个生产队。1962年分出，因在永和庙旁边而定名永和大队；1985年改为永和村委会，2010年撤村建社区。[1]
