台塘村在三圳镇西部，全村总面积17.26平方千米，村名来自土改时乡政府设在台塘的谢氏学堂。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
传说有位和尚相中了一块平整的台地，在此定居，把地方叫作沙罗塘。1949年以前，钟姓的福头与谢姓的台塘合称福塘村；土地改革时乡政府设在台塘的谢氏学堂，遂改名台塘村。[1][2]
1952年称台塘乡；1958年为三圳公社台塘生产大队；1983年东岭、台塘、铁西、福头、石陂五个大队合并为台塘乡；1987年称村委会，1990年称管理区，1999年起复称村委会。[2]
人口与经济[edit]
13个村民小组，309户、1218人，耕地1335亩，种植冬瓜，并引进仙人草。2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
