历史沿革[edit]
村子背靠山、面向河，山脊远看像九条龙须顺势而下，先人因此称这里为九岭。明崇祯六年（1633年）起隶招福乡；1921年分为上九岭、下九岭；1952年设九岭乡。[2][3]
1958年为三圳公社的九岭生产大队；1983年九岭、五湖、吉塘三个大队合并成九岭乡；1987年称村委会，1990年称管理区，1999年起又叫村委会。[3]
地理环境与经济[edit]
全村总面积8.6平方千米；博雅地名网记19个村民小组、593户、2124人，耕地2165亩。种植的作物有淮山、蔬菜，百度百科还提到香蕉、梅州金柚和莲藕。[1][2]
名胜[edit]
百度百科提到村内的景点有吴氏宗祠、十里荷塘、客家农夫农业休闲公园、廉政文化主题公园，以及蕉岭县「不忘初心、牢记使命」主题教育馆。[1]
荣誉[edit]
农业农村部2017年9月推介的美丽休闲乡村中有九岭村；2019年12月，它进入首批国家森林乡村；2020年11月，又得到第六届全国文明村镇的称号。[2]
著名人物[edit]
钟文聪（1923年—1986年）是上九岭人，1946年入党，组织村中的儿童团、民兵和妇女会支持游击队，1957年至1958年任蕉岭县副县长。[4]
