密坑村是广东省梅州市大埔县湖寮镇下辖的行政村，位于湖寮镇西北部。村名取村内林木茂密、山坑幽深之意。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属大埔县清远都黄坑社密坑村，清代归同仁社；民国属同仁区湖西乡；1949年后隶河腰乡；1958年10月并入湖寮公社；至1986年冬独立设村委会，其后1988年称管理区，1998年起为村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

全村分16个村民小组，在册276户、960人，总面积9.91平方千米，耕地289亩（村情页，未注明年份）。种植水稻、泥竹和蜜柚，村里与顺兴种养公司合作建设密坑蜜柚基地。页面称上一年农村经济总收入425万元。^[1]

密坑棣萼楼建于民国三十二年（1943年），属近现代重要史迹及代表性建筑，列为第八批梅州市文物保护单位（博雅地名网未注明公布时间）。^[1]

2026年1月，密坑村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村；2019年9月，入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]

国民革命军陆军中将吴奇伟（1891—1953），据百度百科出生于密坑村，参加过北伐、淞沪会战和万家岭战役。^[2]
