梅塘村是广东省梅州市梅江区三角镇下辖的行政村，在镇西部，距梅州城区约3公里，属城乡结合区。旧时村中有一座建于明代的梅塘塔（已毁损），村名与之有关。[1]下设10个村民小组，在册383户、1552人（博雅地名网所载，未注明年份），全村面积1.5平方千米，耕地约426亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期属第一区水南乡，1950年归城南区水白乡。[1]1958年设梅塘生产大队，属卫星人民公社，1961年起属梅江人民公社；1983年称梅塘乡，1988年改村委会，1989年称梅塘管理区，1998年改为梅塘村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村里种蔬菜、玉米，特色产品有杨桃和梅菜干，并有养猪专业户。[1]
