芹洋村是梅州市梅江区金山街道辖下的行政村，在梅州城区东北部。这里旧称芹菜洋，因曾大量种植芹菜得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放初期与黄坑合并为芹黄乡，1958年公社化时独立成大队，仍名芹黄，隶梅县城郊公社，1975年改属梅州镇东郊公社；1980年一分为二，成芹洋、福长两个大队。1983年建芹洋乡政府，1988年起称村委会（1989年一度叫管理区），1998年划归东郊镇；2002年东郊镇与两个办事处撤并，改隶金山街道。[1]
