历史沿革[edit]
建制的变迁大致如下：高级社（1955年）、大队（1958年）、乡（1981年）、村委会（1987年）、管理区（1989年），至1998年成为村民委员会；高级社时期的名称为长岗。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
人口为3760人。全村土地合计10663.5亩，水田1702亩，旱地349亩，山林6006亩，村民和集体靠农林业取得收入。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2026年3月，长岗村被认定为「广东省第三批百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
