下竹村是广东省肇庆市怀集县蓝钟镇下辖的行政村，距镇墟4公里，11个自然村，人口2260人。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来是这里以前有一处竹圩，该村在竹圩之下，故称下竹。[2] 最早在1957年是高级农业生产合作社，次年改称大队；1983年转为乡，1987年为村委会，1992年为管理区，1998年定为村民委员会。[1][2]
经济[edit]
村委会距蓝钟镇墟4公里，下辖11个自然村，人口2260人；据2009年的数字，村民人均收入5357元，村集体收入5万元。[1] 村内有下竹水库，蓄水量约4700万立方米。[1] 蓝钟特产黄庆笋出在本村的黄庆垌山后。[3]
