柑村村在化州市笪桥镇西南部，下设9个村民小组，是粤西一带知名的革命老区村。[1][2]据百度百科，村里有革命烈士陵园，在土地革命和抗日战争年代有上千人参加或支持革命。[2]

陈兰彬墓是一座清代古墓葬，位于水碓洞村的瓦面岭，属化州市第四批县级文物保护单位。[1]陈兰彬（1816年至1895年）是晚清官员，曾任首任中国驻美公使，百度百科记其为吴川黄坡村人。[3]
