历史沿革[edit]
1952年隶李屋行政村，1957年析出为边坡小乡，1958年成边坡大队，1961年归东海小公社，1970年曾并入樟寨大队，1979年再分出；1983年称边坡乡委会，1987年改村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年复为村委会，后设社区，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网，社区有耕地1186亩、林地815亩；俄儿、郊边两个小组临海，属革命老区，以海上捕捞和养殖为主；邱屋、大方田、边坡三个小组办有20多间以塑料和渔网为主的企业[2]。2019年9月，社区名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
通驷垂虹位于邱屋，原称垂虹桥，是吴川古八景之一，始建于明代，清代重修，现存残垣；2021年当地在附近建了两座牌坊[3]。
