前村尾村是广东省湛江市廉江市塘蓬镇的行政村，位于镇区以南约4.5公里处，紧邻省道S287，面积约8.5平方千米。[2]
地名与沿革[edit]
村址在「前村」的尾部，故名前村尾。[1]1953年属留和行政村，1958年设前村尾大队，属塘蓬公社，1983年称前村尾乡，1987年称管理区，1999年改为前村尾村委会。[1]
概况[edit]
全村辖牛牳湖、武地塘等15个自然村，980户，常住人口3145人，耕地4890亩，以种水稻、蔬菜和养猪、鸭、鱼为主。村里有正式党员93名，办公楼为两层，面积240多平方米。集体经济年收入3860元；村民人均纯收入在2007年为1500元。[2]
