桃园大队立于1958年，1984年成为桃园乡；1988年设村委会，1991年称管理区，1999年起称村民委员会[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年5月，辖下的八斗村获评「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]

据城北乡概况，该村于2002年9月随大黄、那练两村并入城北乡[2]。
