西埚村是城北乡下辖的行政村，1951年才建乡，此前属徐闻县第二区的头铺乡[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
西埚乡建于1951年，1960年改为大队，1966年称革命委员会，1969年改回大队；1986年设村委会，1988年为管理区，1999年起称村民委员会。2019年9月，该村列入2018年「广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]
