草潭社区是湛江市遂溪县草潭镇辖下的社区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
草潭一带在1953年由遂溪县第十二区管辖。1960年，它自海陆大队划出，建为草潭居民渔民大队，其后相继成为红星公社的草潭大队（1979年）和草潭公社的草潭大队（1983年），1984年易名草潭乡。基层组织名称再变：居委会（1986年）、管理区（1988年）、居民委员会（1999年），2002年定为草潭社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2023年5月，由广东省爱卫会授予社区内的草潭圩、槟榔园村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
