岭亭社区是汕头市澄海区澄华街道的社区，位于澄海城区的西南郊，前身是岭亭村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

地名有两种说法：一说因村在南岭陇顶，「顶」与「亭」谐音；另一说南宋时漳州人蔡简斋到潮州做官，致仕后定居于此。又因村在明嘉靖年间重修的南桥桥头，也叫桥头。[1][2] 1945年与西门村并为城南镇，新中国成立当年分出，称岭亭乡，隶城关镇；1953年一度与美埭合称岭亭乡；1959年称岭亭大队；2002年5月起称岭亭社区居委会。[1][2]

经济[edit]

据社区简介，到1993年村民已基本转向工业，工业产值首次超亿元；1998年获省政府农办等部门授予「发展乡镇企业百强村」，2008年获「全省民主法治示范村」。[2] 2009年工业产值13.6亿元，主要行业有毛织、塑料工艺、五金、保温容器等。[2] 1992年起村里规划建设岭亭农民新村，占地45亩，1996年6月竣工。[2] 2026年3月，岭亭被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
