白石龙村[edit]
据百度百科，白石龙村始建于明末，蔡氏兄弟从东莞迁来立村；因一道白色石英矿脉形似长龙而得名，旧名金埔岭。世居村民属广府民系，说粤方言；2015年末有户籍人口265人，外来人口则近4万（39853人）。[2]
文化名人大营救[edit]
抗日战争时期，香港沦陷后，大批文化人士经地下党安排撤出香港，白石龙是他们转移途中的一处中转站。[2][4]村内的天主堂旧址为市级文物保护单位（第七批）。[5]中国文化名人大营救纪念馆设在白石龙老村1号，展览面积826平方米，2015年9月3日投用；2020年9月进入第三批国家级抗战纪念设施、遗址的名单，2022年9月被中国侨联确认为第十批「中国华侨国际文化交流基地」。[4][1]
