历史沿革[edit]
村子始建于明末，蔡氏兄弟自东莞迁来，旧名金埔岭，因白色石英矿脉形似龙而改称白石龙。[1]世居村民属广府民系，说粤方言，传统上种植水稻，并种果树、砍柴烧炭。[1]抗战时期，文化人士撤出香港后曾在此中转，村被称作「小延安」。[1]
