西草村是新丰县黄磜镇下辖的行政村，位于G220沿线。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
建制先是西草乡（1949年至1957年），再是西草大队（1958年起）；1984年改乡政府，1990年改管理区，1998年设村委会，沿用至今。[1] 镇里的旅游设想，把西草在内的G220沿线各村串成一条重走古驿道的徒步线。[2]
