历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，中华人民共和国成立初设中心洞乡，1958年设中心洞大队，1983年设乡政府，1986年改设村委会，1989年称管理区，1998年重设村委会，沿用至今[1]。
经济与人口[edit]
村内167户611人，山林面积16184亩，耕地190亩，收入来源有林木、劳务输出、种植水稻和花生、养猪[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2017年3月，政研瑶族新村由国家民委命名，列入「第二批中国少数民族特色村寨」[1]。博雅地名网把这一荣誉列在中心洞村名下，当以该站所载为据，村寨与行政村的确切关系尚待其他来源印证。
