历史沿革[edit]
胆源大队设于1958年；1983年起称胆源乡，1987年起称胆源管理区，1998年管理区撤销，成立胆源村村委会[1]。
经济[edit]
胆源村的板鸭，列入2021年9月公布的第二批省级「一村一品、一镇一业专业村」名单；2019年9月，该村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
胆源人民会堂在村委会旁，1975年动工、1976年春节建成，坐西北朝东南，面阔15.4米、进深46.9米、高约12米，为砖木结构，正面两层为混凝土，题有“胆源人民会堂”及一副对联。建成后，市、县剧团和附近业余剧团常在此演出采茶戏和样板戏，附近乡民前来观看[2]。
