新洞村是韶关市曲江区罗坑镇的行政村，位于镇北部，距镇区7.5公里[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
境内天堂顶山上有一山洞，建国初期取名新洞，村名由此而来[1]。解放前属仙洞第七保；1951年5月设仙塘村政府，属第六区；1952年3月改仙塘乡政府，属樟市区；1961年3月属新塘大队；新洞大队是1963年从新塘大队析出的；此后1983年11月为乡政府，1986年12月为村委会，1989年改管理区，1998年12月复称村委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
村内总人口1480人、232户，耕地1100亩，生态林6.5万亩；村集体收入1.2万元，主要来自电站管理费和生态林管护费。土特产有生姜、冬菇、木耳[1]。
