塘湾村是韶关市武江区西河镇的行政村，在镇中部、武江河西岸，北与浈江区相邻，随城区扩展正转为城中村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1963年，市农业科在这里办起蔬菜良种示范场，1978年更名塘湾良种场；1986年11月成为管理区，1998年9月改组为村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
农业人口398人，耕地177亩，主要种叶菜、养猪养鱼，是韶关市菜篮子生产基地之一。扩建323国道、拉大城市框架时村里大量土地被征用，2005年市政府为村规划了新农村；村里办过船厂、砖厂、沙场等企业，并从2001年起给老人发放退休金，2008年又成立实业公司。[1]
2019年9月，塘湾村被纳入「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2018年批次）。[1]
著名人物[edit]
刘焕棠，1952年生，塘湾村人，任村党支部书记、村委会主任，当选过韶关市第七至第十一届人大代表。[1]
