南浦西二村，通称西二村，是广州市番禺区洛浦街道的行政村，位于南浦岛西部。南浦西乡分出三个村，它按命名顺序排第二，故称西二[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，相传此处于清乾隆四十五年（1780）建村，早期因地势低洼称坭塘，又因多条水道交汇、河沙淤积而称沿沙；道光十年（1830），因位于广州以南、众多河流在此入海，得名南浦[1]。1953年南浦分为东、西两个小乡[1]。
西乡随后办了三个农业社，人民公社时期依次称西一大队、西二大队、西三大队。“文化大革命”之初，西二大队曾改叫红光大队，1970年又改回；1987年成立南浦西二村民委员会，一直沿用[1]。
荣誉[edit]
西二村先后进入2021年、2022年「淘宝村」名单，2024年11月获「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」认定[1]。
