历史沿革[edit]
共和东居委会的渊源是农林街1953年设的共和居委会。1960年成为农林人民公社的共和管理区，1961年回到居委会建制。街道成立之后的1986年又设共和居委会，2002年与中山一居委会重新调整组合，才有了共和东这个名称。[1]
