北园社区在广州市越秀区洪桥街道，辖内有小北路202号的北园酒家。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1962年，第十居委会划出一部分街巷，另设一个居委会；2002年它又分成北园和天秀两个社区居委会，2014年重新合并，称北园居委会至今。[2]社区因辖内的北园酒家得名。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
北园酒家开业于1928年，发起集资的是商会会长邹殿邦；当年这里是广州的北郊，故有「山前食肆，水尾茶寮」的说法。[1]公私合营之后的1956年，市长朱光倡议扩建并写下招牌「北园」，使它成为广州首家园林酒家；1993年得「中华老字号」称号。[1]酒家的庭园于2015年8月被认定为广州市文物保护单位。[1]它与泮溪酒家、南园酒家并称「广州三大园林酒家」。[1]
