双德村位于两山之间的峡谷中，村域分为上脉、下脉两部分，后人把这两部分雅化为上德、下德，合称双德。村内的万丈洒瀑布是当地的名称。[1][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

张氏始祖明书于1678年从泗纶连城七堆村迁到双德村，是村内最早的村落。1835年，邱氏始祖乾喜从福建上杭县出发，经广东翁源县迁来。今有张、邱、李、盘等8姓，张姓占50%。[1][2]

1974年7月，都门公社由泗纶公社分出设立，上德、下德两个大队合为双德大队。1983年改为双德乡，隶都门区；1986年改设村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1999年复称村委会，属都门镇。2003年，都门镇并入泗纶镇，双德村委会的设置未变。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

万丈洒是一道小瀑布，水流从相距约百米的两片岩石间涌出，形如绫罗，当地因此称之为「万丈洒」。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，双德村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
