云良村是连州镇的一个行政村。村委会前身的云良大队设立时驻于云良村，因而得名并沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公元1646年，霍、宋、覃三姓始祖结伴迁入，形成村委最早的村落；之后李、侯等姓陆续迁入。[2]

1958年公社化后，云良属连州公社平云大队；1961年平云大队分出，设立云良大队；1983年撤大队设云良乡，隶属连州区；1986年改设云良村民委员会，1989年5月改设云良管理区，1998年9月复称云良村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，本村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2020年8月，云良村列入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为茶叶。[1]
