车战村是连州镇的一个行政村。村名的来历可追溯到清代的车荐村，后来在沿用过程中改用了同音字，写作「车战」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

车战一带在1958年以后划入连州公社，设立车战生产大队。1983年改为车战乡，归连州区管辖；1986年乡制取消，改为村民委员会。1989年又改为管理区，1999年恢复村委会的名称。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年10月，车战村被收入广东省卫生村名录。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予村内10个自然村2022年广东省卫生村称号。2026年1月，车战村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
