连州镇是广东省云浮市罗定市下辖的镇，镇政府驻连州圩，位于罗定市中西部，距罗定市区约27千米。镇域东与罗平镇、生江镇相邻，北与泗纶镇、黎少镇接壤。[1][5]

泗纶河与连州河流经镇境，地势自西向东降低，镇域处在罗定北部低丘与西南山地丘陵之间的过渡地带。蒲垌自然生态旅游区、连州仙境茶园和若干处文物保护单位，是镇内较具代表性的景点。[1][5][6]

历史沿革[edit]

镇政府驻地连州圩于清代设立，镇名即由圩名沿用而来。据称圩市设立时出产莲藕，「莲」与「连」读音相通，因此定名「连州」。[1]

清嘉庆年间（1816年）此地属罗定直隶州三都镇南乡。[4] 1958年9月起设连州人民公社，1983年8月改设连州区，1986年11月改设连州镇，1998年8月起隶属罗定市。[3] 镇域是广东省革命老区镇。[5]

罗定县苏维埃人民政府旧址位于云致村张日熙故居一带，原为三路二进的砖木大屋，屋体今已倒塌，仅余部分墙体，墙上残留枪弹痕迹。据连州镇人民政府网站所载，该址是西江地区最早成立的政府。[8]

地理环境[edit]

镇域位于罗定市中部偏西，泗纶河、连州河流经镇境，水力资源较为丰富。[1]

人口民族[edit]

以2020年11月1日零时为标准时点的第七次全国人口普查中，连州镇常住人口登记为36787人。[5] 2024年末，全镇总人口60573人，其中城镇人口11947人，乡村人口48626人。[7] 两组数字的统计口径不同。

经济[edit]

连州素有种茶的历史，镇内土壤与气候适宜茶树生长。玉桂、柑桔、龙眼与荔枝等经济作物也适合在此种植。[2]

「云仙牌」连州特红茶与连州毛尖，曾分别在1995年中国农业博览会上获得铜奖和银奖。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

连州仙境茶园占地约1500公顷，位于镇内。据百度百科所载，此茶园以高香型茶叶的繁育为主，属农业部的南亚热带良种苗木繁育体系之一，另被省农业厅列为「三高」农业示范基地。[6]

蒲垌自然生态旅游区位于蒲垌村，距罗定市区约38公里，以山水、梯田和山寨式民居为主要景观。[14]

文物保护单位中，万车村大乐村的必名李公祠建于雍正二年（1724年），2011年2月列入「第四批罗定市文物保护单位」。[9] 同村的李庸将军祠建于民国时期，列入「第五批罗定市（县）级文物保护单位」。[12][13] 连东村猪腰塘村的连东石拱桥为清代建筑，古榄村墟头村的古榄石灰窑址则是明清时期罗定州城筑城和建房所用石灰的主要产地之一，二者与必名李公祠同在2011年公布为罗定市文物保护单位。[10][11]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，云浮市卫生健康局授予连州镇「2023年云浮市卫生镇」称号。[1]
