会龙村是金鸡镇的一个行政村，明末建村，初称会龙，属泷水县[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

会龙村建于明末，称会龙，属泷水县。清代归罗定州五都金鸡乡，民国时隶属罗定县第六区，1950年起划入第二区。1958年仍属金鸡乡，1961年5月另立会龙大队，归金鸡公社。1983年改设乡，属金鸡区；1986年改为村委会，1989年一度称管理区，1998年复为村委会[2]。

文化[edit]

1993年，会龙村被评为革命老区[2]。
